For my premiere project, I will be telling the story of the Pi Theta chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi. More specifically, I will be talking about how Kappa Alpha Psi's birth, passing, and rebirth on our beautiful campus. In the Spring of 2005, 11 young men, 1 being from Elon University sought out to begin a new chapter in Kappa Alpha Psi (Pi Theta). They were successful in bringing the fraternity to the campus, however, in 2012, all members of the noble klan graduated, leaving High Point University and taking Kappa Alpha Psi with them. Luckily, interest in the fraternity on High Point's campus was still high and 4 young men who go by the names of Demetrius Bell, Giovanni Brooks, Jordan Peebles, and Avery Semidey, with the help of a few older Brothers helped bring the fraternity back to the campus in the Spring of 2017.
If I were to tell this story using a different media such as InDesign I would basically have a picture of the Spring '17 line at their probate and have some cool edits here and there. if I were to have produced this in Audition I would just have a 1-2 minute explanation of the history of the Pi Theta chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi with some cool background music.
If I were explaining this to a different demographic, how I altered it would all depend on the demographic. For example, if I were explaining this to some foreign exchange students from Spain, I would have to change the language to their native language. I would also make sure the background fit their culture. If it were gender specific then I'd make the edits on the InDesign either more masculine or feminine depending on the gender of the target audience.
